Ian has been a Sidmouth Town Councillor
since 1988 and has represented the Sidford Ward for the last 12 years.
A former Chairman of the Planning Committee. Recently retired from the tourist industry having spent fifty six years
at Kings Down Tail caravan park. He is well aware of the vital part the tourist industry plays in the local economy.
He supports the need for local job creation but has always been against re-siting/creating an business park on land north
of Sidford. He would like to see Alexandria Industrial Estate realise its full potential.
Living in Primley he appreciates the needs of local residents ensuring their interests are looked after and if elected will
look to influence District policy for the benefit of Sidmouth Sidford.
